Kia ora everybody,
Today, Room 11 became a hub of scientific curiosity as we conducted the classic float and sink experiment! This engaging activity allowed us to explore the fascinating world of buoyancy and density.
- We learned that an object’s density determines whether it will float or sink. If an object is less dense than water, it will float, and if it’s more dense, it will sink.
- This experiment sparked interesting questions and discussions about real-world applications, such as ship design and ocean currents.
- Our float and sink experiment was a fun, interactive way to understand the concept of buoyancy and its importance in our everyday lives.
This hands-on activity ignited our curiosity and inspired us to continue exploring the wonders of science!
