On Wednesday mum was going to take Thomas to his hair cut when she found the hedgehog by the drain. We had be looking for it because it was awake at our house in the day time witch hedgehogs never do unless it is sick or dehydrated. So mum came back running into the house and said that she found the hedgehog by the drain across the road. She grabbed a cat towel and brought it inside then we put it in a Kmart cardboard box. We took off the cat towel and took a photo of it next to a soap bottle for size comparison then we send it to the hedgehog lady. She said it is a baby and it is very small so we feed it cat food and water in some lids of some glass jars.
The lady said that the hedgehog had to stay with us for one night and some of tomorrow then we keep checking on the hedgehog. Then when it became night time we went to bed and the hedgehog woke up I asked mum if she could check on it and she did. In the morning and it was curled up witch is a good sign that it is getting better. Then we went to school and did the junior cross country. Then we went to me and Thomas jabs and we got jelly beans then we went home and said our good by’s to the hedgehog before mum dropped it of at the hedgehog lady. Then mum told us that it was doing very well and had a good chance of not dying.
