Kia ora,
This week in writing we have been learning about Insects. I loved learning about bugs. Our create task was to create a fact file about our chosen Insect. We also had to create a Mihi for our Insect of Choice. The first step was to research, we had to find out its Phyla Kingdom etc. I chose to do mine about a New Zealand Praying Mantis. I chose this bug because I love to find Praying Mantis in my Garden. I good thing about NZ Praying Mantis is that you can find them just about anywhere around New Zealand.
Here is my Fact File. I learnt that there are lots of Different species of Praying Mantis, for example there is a European Praying Mantis, a South African Praying Mantis and lots more.
