Hi this is a stamp that I did of the gymnastic club. I chose it because I love gymnastics and now I do it every week.

Kia ora, today I will be talking about what I had to do for my PBL this week. The past few weeks we have been learning about marine habitats along with a bunch of different habitats with a lot of different places. This week we had two creates but today I’m going to be talking about my marine food web one. We had to make a food web of all of the different creatures in the marine food web.
Here it is:
Have you ever learnt about the food web?
Ko tēnei taku mahi tā kanohi. Ko ōku tino tae ko tekiwikiwi, te kākariki , ā te kōwhai hoki.
Kia Ora,
This week for PBL in the Yr 7 group we were doing a Kiwi Kids News. There were 4 different categories that had different articles such as: Sport, Odd stuff, World & National. there were 2 articles that we had to read from kiwi kids news.
What articles would you read?
Kia ora ano , for the past 5 weeks our students have been reading the above novel in English. It is a story of survival in the deep South Island mountainous ranges. The two main characters are 14 year old Maori cousins River and Huia. It’s was interesting to see our students relating to the characters in the book. The constant use of kupu Maori/ Maori words and reference to tikanga Maori/Maori culture and customs was also good for them to read. They could relate to this story. They enjoyed the story and learnt a lot about looking after each other in situations such as this one. If they were ever to be in this type of situation.

In Hinaki hub it was Samoan Language Week and for Samoan language week we did a cybersmart challenge and it was about making a Samoan Tapa Cloth with there pattern.
We created stamps at Belfast School. We had to include pictures about our hobbies and clubs.

On the 30th of May we began our winter sports for the season. I have chosen to play netball this year and my team name is called the Honey Bees.
In the first round we played Marshlands school and tied with them, and on the second round we played a different Marshlands team,But sadly lost but it was so much fun. I also got a shot in the hoop!!
Have you ever been to winter sports and if so, what sport did you play?
Hey guys, this week I learned about Catholicism Around the World. I found out that on the Day of Guadalupe, people bring things to church to get holy water and celebrate the day. The only thing I ever did on the 12 of December was complain about the huge traffic because of the Day of Guadalupe! Maybe in some years I’ll go to church and celebrate Day of Guadalupe instead of complaining. Would you go to church the Day of Guadalupe?
That is what I learned in R.E! Have a nice long weekend!
Hello people welcome back to my blog today I will be explaining Catholicism in Mexico.
Catholicism began in Mexico in the early 1500s. It was led by Hernán Cortés. One of the most famous stories is about a man named Juan Diego, who saw a vision of the Virgin Mary on a hill near Mexico City in 1531. This event was called the “apparition” it helped native people convert to Catholicism.
I did really well learning about Catholicism in Mexico. It was very interesting to learn about it. There was stuff that had me engaged to find out more about it. Overall this was very fun to learn.
What other cultures have Catholic faith that you know about?
Hello!
Welcome back to my blog, this term in Kaupeka we have been learning about the Marine Food Web. We had to do a task listing everything about a few important sea creatures in the food web! This was a fun task I loved learning so much about new animals and all about them. This was very exciting to start the journey in our PBL this term!
What do you know about the Marine Food Web?
I mahi toku akomanga katoa i te polyline ko tenei taku.
On Monday we do a Monday Must Do. This week we had to make a copy of a slide and fill it out. The slide was about the Rena Cargo Ship and when it when it sunk.
Do you know what the Rena Cargo Ship is?
In manderine we were making ink tree so how we made an ink tree. is like we put some ink in a plate and we need to blow the ink after we blow the ink it will look like a tree with so many branches and after we do this we have to let them dry for one hour. And after one hour we take one color then we color the end of the branches and the color which is at the end of the branches are flowers.
Today I have been learning about the Holy Spirit. We made some art of fire and a dove. One of the symbols of the Holy Spirit is fire because when they were with the Holy Spirit fire appeared above their heads. Dove is one because it’s a symbol of peace and peace is what we were made to live. The wind is one because you can’t see it but you know it’s there. There is one more water because you get baptized with water and we welcome to our family to be a child of God.
Can you think of any more symbols that represent the Holy Spirit?
This week during reading we could create our own town and I did this Link.
You would be able to make it how ever you would want it to be and here is mine.
I put in houses, trees, malls and a park.
It didn’t take me that long to make it took me about 2 minutes to make.
I made this by using google drawings.
Have you ever made one of these before? Do you like it?
