This week we have been told to make our own trinity symbol so I made a heart blood and brain because of brain needs blood a heart needs blood and they all need each other otherwise they wont work properly.

Kia Ora, welcome back to my blog today I will be showing you my fractions task I hope you will enjoy this blog.
For the past few weeks I have been learning about fractions until I think its ended today, that’s why I did a task about how you have to make a drawing about how to find the comments denominator. I have been learning about fractions for years in years 5,6,7 and 8. and just this year I found out it’s easier to solve them now. I used to have to find 1/2 of 50 and man it was hard for me as a young kid, but I am happy it’s easier than what it used to be. I won’t have to solve anymore fractions until high school.

This week we had to do catholic identity which meant that we got to chose a country that was catholic and learn the sing of the cross find out what they did for there feast day and when it was, how many people were Catholic and were it was.
I chose to do France and here is what I did.

Alpines
This week in Reading we learned about alpine habitats. Alpine habitats are in the mountains above the area where trees grow, special plants and animals have adapted to living in those harsh envoiroments. So for our create we had to make a slideshow that explained what Alpines are, and I also had to make a seperate google doc to answer a couple of questions about Alpine habitats, then I had to link that on my Google slide that explained what Alpines are.

Mexico RE

This week in RE we have been learning about countries and their view on Catholic identity. We were told to look for a country and learn about their Catholicism. The country I chose was Mexico. I found out that Mexico is a very interesting country. Did you know that Mexico is over 80% catholic 10% Protestant and 1.5% other. Fun Fact catholicism began in Mexico when Spanish explorers arrived in the early 1500s and they Started telling People.

Fantastic Freshwater Reding
This week for reading we were reading about freshwater habbitats after reading about the freshwater habitats we filled out a google doc for our learning we had to list new vocab, answer the questions at the end and do a fake instagram post.

Week 5 – 24. Idioms
Guten Tag Everyone!
This week my class, had a task to do, we had to go on the Panui page, and look for our reading groups, then we had to look for the word idiom, it will take us to a google slide where all of the week are and search for week 5, which is the week for our school. We had to move words to its belonging, and move the box where it had a sentence of the meaning of that word. I managed to finish all my work, this week our idioms reaction was happiness and excitement, I really enjoyed doing these kind of work because you can express your feelings in a different saying, for example ( Snug as a bug in a rug.

if you want to know more about electrical engineering you are in the right place we go to Papakura high school and it takes 10 minute to go the high school there are two school go to the engineering Papakura Intermediate and Edmund Hillary school we go every wednesday there is a gate where that Red dot is a gate

In room 9 in reading time we have a reading group like my group name is korimako (bell bird) in our reading groups with the teacher we have been reading the tall tale.it about a man that was going fishing and catch a big fish but then the fishing line was around the his legs then the fish starting the swimming away.The fishing line around the legs so when the fish started swimming away so it dragging the fisherman and fisherman fell in the water with the fish and start drowning but he did’t die cause his friend save him. the book we have been reading is not a diamante but it does lots of onomatopoeia. here is what I have been going.
Poha a way of storing food.
This week we read Poha a clever way of storing food we were learning to locate specific information and answer questions.
I found it easy to find the words in our find the word activity.
I found it hard to understand most of the meanings of the words such as rimurapa and taonga.
What I enjoyed most was getting it started and finished.
Next time what I can do differently is get my scratch animation completed to show what I have learned.
