What?

What was the activity?

This week, we learned about different vocabulary words  and read a story called ‘The weekend’ in class.  The weekend is about other peoples weekend and what they do during it.

What did you do?

I wrote the answers for the vocabulary table and I read ‘The weekend’ story.

What was/were the learning intentions?

The learning objective/s was/were

  • To notice vocabulary
  • To notice details in the texts
  • To combine sentences using conjunctions

What was the most difficult part of this activity?

The most difficult part of this activity was nothing, because the majority of the vocabulary words I already know and some are easy to figure out.

How did you solve it?

I solved it by focusing on my work and trying my best not to get distracted by others.

So what?

What have you learned?

I learned to understand vocab words and their meaning and also learned about what people do during the weekend.

Were you able to achieve the learning objectives? Why?

I think I achieved the learning objectives because I finished the vocab table and finished reading ‘The weekend’ story.

How will you do better next time?

In order to do better, I will try to extend my vocabulary next time and learn some advanced vocabulary words like luminous – emitting light especially the darkness, I learned this word while reading.

Now what?

What have you learned that can be used in real-life situations? (in life, at school, etc.)

I will use what I’ve learned in real-life situations like writing a story, doing a speech, talking to someone, and more.
