T3 WK8 Reading Create Tasks.

Hey Bloggers!

Welcome back to yet another blog post about my create tasks. just how long will I have to blog these things, I have no idea but until I have an answer let’s keep this fast! So let’s get right into the usual agenda shall we?

This week the books have changed once again, but they still kept their theme of the Olympics as the Paralympics have just begun! (expect to see many more blog posts talking about the Olympics) These journals focused on one main sport that takes place in the winter Olympics, explaining its rules, its origins and its Olympic history!

The winter sport that I chose was ice hockey, as out of the six options that we have it sounded the most interesting ( it also sounded the second easiest….. what!)

Am I forgetting something?…. Oh right the WALT! Its to compare and contrast between texts for anyone who wants to know.

For my create tasks on the other hand, they’re the same. But the first create task is a little bit different from what you’ve seen from me, because since my journal is non-fiction I couldn’t do a story map like I’ve done before, no, instead I  needed to do a flow chart explaining six different facts that I learned from my journal!

And that’s about it for my first create task! So without further ado, here it is!

This create task was nothing out of the ordinary for me as i have done this create task before I just didn’t blog it as I didn’t have enough time so I got this create task done pretty quick!

Which is more than I could say for my second create task…. Because I choose to do the create task called examine which told me to summarise the basic rules of ice hockey and after that I had to add an entirely new rule that somehow connected with the others, plus explaining why I added it in the first place… Yea this took a while 😅

Either way I hope it turned out alright because I think that I’ve been staring at this for wayy too long. So without further ado here it my second create task!

Please feel free to give me some feedback because I am a little disappointed with this for some reason.
