Kia Ora, today in my blog I will be talking to you about what I’ve been doing in sewing this term. We never normally have to make blogs in sewing but I think we will have to start. I’m # so excited about the holidays hehe. Anyways yeah enjoy this blog.
What I did and why I did it: So basically we had to pick between making makeup wipes or a tote bag and of course, I chose the makeup wipes because it was easier but it turns out we had to make a bag for the wipes anyway. But we had to make a bag for practice so it turns out I had to make 2 BAGS! So I should’ve done the tote bag for real. But anyway here is what my makeup wipes and my bag look like.

How I made it: I don’t really know how to explain how I made it and stuff but I can give you guys the video that basically taught me how to make the makeup wipes. I made the bag by cutting out two piece of fabric, then I sewed them together leaving the top but un sewed and then I cut the sides with a zig zag scissors. Then I ironed it and then unpicked the opening and added my strings. So yeah here’s the video on how to make the makeup wipes.
Okay thank you reading my blog. Make sure to have a good day and be nice to others and of course your siggity self! Liggity later you feinious advengers.

Tena koutou,
This week Tautoro School went on an attendance trip to the movies. The criteria was to have your attendance over 80% or more. The senior’s trip was on Monday and the Juniors movie was on Thursday. The movie that we went to watch was Enchanto.
We all hopped on the bus ready to head off to Kerikeri. When we arrived, the yr 5 & 6 were already in their seats. After the man came in and gave out the ice cream, we waited around 2 minutes for the movie to begin. When the movie started, the title showed up on the screen and it said “Enchanto I Te Reo Māori” After an hour and a half we had finished all our ice creams and so we walked to the park.
When we all go to the park we put our bags in a circle and scattered. Some of us played handball other people played hide and seek and other kids just roamed around playing elsewhere.
After five minutes Miss Simeon came around asking for some girls to help her bring in the food and drinks. So some friends and I helped her bring the pizzas and fizzy drinks for everyone. Shawn did karakia and after that, we ate some pizza. After that, we played for half an hour and went back onto the bus.

We were challenged to research about why sleep is so important for our bodies. We had questions to answer like: Do people get enough and healthy sleep, How much sleep do humans need, Does technology affect our sleep and etc. Something I found interesting was that women get more sleep compared to men.
I found this activity fun because I was able to realize how much sleep my body needs and what could happen if I don’t get enough sleep.
WALT Cade came in his onre time and showed us skills and games my favorite was capcher the balls and the number game some times people get super angry at times. And I don’t like that toi oho is no more because we did the screaming game.
I what to move up in soccer and reading and move in to a hige and better team.
do you play soccer?
Task Description : Today is the last day of term 3 and I have finally completed my movie ! This term our korero is “Karawhiua, Give it Heaps” This basically talks about our fitness and to put in all the hard work in sports. Team 5 we were focusing to learning something new ! In groups of 2 or more we got to create our very own movie. In my group there was Taisha, Eleni, Tumoe, and Aniqua ! Group name was TETA ! My group went through ups and downs, but our group did well! Enjoy the movie up above (Its 8 minutes!) And make sure to leave a positive comment on my blog and my friends ! Bye now
Task description: we had a task about te wiki o te reo maori.
WALT blog about our highlight about the term.
My highlight was playing basketball with Cade because my brother(trae)plays it and i’m probably going to play basketball and it is EXCELLENT to play basketball and it’s hard at the same time.
Another one of my highlights are gumdiggers. We got to see a lot of things like animals and homes and I imagine that in the old days I was kinda scared too.
My low light is the toi oho people are leaving and so is Cade(couch) and it is so sad we will miss them and the rest
My goal is more maths and reading and more writing.
i enjoyed… EVERYTHING
i do not like…nothing

Learning With Harold:
Going with Harold is fun when we went there we learnt about Resilence. You may not know about Resilence it is some thing to do with having a fix mind seat and a growth mind seat. A fix mind seat is a mind seat when you think every think is supposed to be easy and does not want to learn and is un coachable, and a growth mind seat is a mind seat that wants to learn and is cochable. Will your school go to Harold?
Flox Art:
Flox Art is nature Art. We learnt To do dental and fethers on birds. It does not have to be a bird it can be a animal in nature. Sometimes it can be hard but I used a stenst to do my bird. Do you like nature?

what did I do I was at the volcanoes room
what did I ilke the waka and the volcanoes room
challenges the caut and the hat
What did I do – I walked and listened like everyone else while someone started telling us what happened to the original trenches.
What I liked – Exploring was my favourite part of Rangiriri Paa because we got to see everything.
What I challenged – Was trying to keep up with others because I kept getting lost.
Here are some photos of my class at Rangiriri Paa!!

Bye for now!
Have an amazing holiday girlys!!
In our recent inquiry, we studied the four Hauora walls of well-being and our heartbeat. The four Hauora walls are Taha Tinana (physical well-being), Taha Hinengaro (mental and emotional well-being), Taha Whanau (social well-being), and Taha Wairua (spiritual well-being). When these walls are compromised, athletes may lose their motivation. We also delved into the topic of our heartbeats. We began by estimating the number of times our hearts beat each day. I estimated 87. Then we moved on to discussing whether a faster or slower heart rate is better, and what our heart rate might indicate about our fitness and health. I suggested that a faster heartbeat is beneficial because it allows the heart to pump blood more efficiently. I imagined my heart saying, “I need to work harder and become fitter, but I’m still healthy.” Later, we paired up and set a 20-second timer. My partner checked my pulse three times, and then I checked hers. My pulse rates were 30, 25, and 35. We multiplied these numbers by three, resulting in 90, 75, and 105. Adding them together gave us 270, and then dividing by three resulted in my resting heart rate of 95. After recording our resting heart rates, we went outside for some exercise. Upon returning, we repeated the process to find our active heart rate. Mine was also 95. Following this, we discussed with our partners why our heart rates might differ from those of athletes. I proposed that athletes enhance their stamina and muscle strength through rigorous training, allowing them to use oxygen more efficiently. In contrast, I wouldn’t be able to endure as much physical training due to the likelihood of getting exhausted quickly. I noted that my resting heart rate used to be 90 when I didn’t engage in any exercise, but now my active heart rate is 95. Have you also observed a similar change? It’s important to remember that the heart’s primary function is to circulate blood and oxygen throughout the body. I really enjoyed this task because I got to feel my pulse.
LI: To generate an AI image using specific prompts on Adobe Express.
Our task was to write a prompt to AI to generate an image based of our description using Adobe Express. First we only used 5 instructions to write as our prompt. My first prompt was underwater transport, with a ice cream machine, a water slide coming out of the window, oreos, and a chocolate fountain with strawberry’s on top. After multiple tries once we found a photo we liked, we then used B.A.R thinking key to help us build a greater prompt. B stands for bigger which means to make something bigger. A stands for add so add something onto the photo. R stands for replace or remove. I englarged the pineapple, replaced the wheels as Oreos, and added a water gun. My finally prompt was underwater double decker bus, oreos as wheels, SpongeBob themed water gun, and massive pineapple on top.
I found this task interesting because our main thing was to create a prompt using our creativy and B.A.R thinkers key.
