Trial – Exam.net

Exam.net Trial/Review

The website/software, it had a brilliant design and graphical art style on the website and application once it had launched. The locked-in security software side of it was imposing, I went to lengths of testing it on multiple devices for example.

I tested the working of this website/app on a Chromebook, Windows laptop, and apple Ipad, I was very surprised by the different things the software did to the different devices for Chrome which was the most impressive as it turned the entire operating system into Exam.net. This gave no chance for the user to escape the system once it had begun other than the helpful “submit exam” button provided to us but strictly forbidden to press before finishing work.

Something I think they could improve on is the keyboard response, I have given this feedback while using Exam.net I kept running into an issue with the typing where it wasn’t picking a lot of the keys I was pressing. The same went for mouse response, it seemed that when the mousepad was pressed it had been deducted on confirmed clicks, which became quite frustrating during the exam. Other than that scrolling was spectacular and very responsive while using the App.

I am also highly aware that it can be a human or computer error that has nothing to do with the app/software, in this case, there is a higher chance that there are no issues with this software and it comes down to the way it is used, I did find that most of these errors occurred on the IOS version of Exam.net also known as apple.

Overall, great experience with the app, highly impressed with the way it has been coded and designed still jaw-dropped by how intense the locked-in software was.
