Wk 2 T4 Two Degrees Bloom Cards

Walt: None

Hello bloggers!

This blog post is about reading. For this task, we needed to come up with three reasons why the setting helped the story. I chose google doc to present this. This term is very different from the past terms because we are doing novel studies! But only a few groups are doing novel studies. I think it is better because I like reading novels and there are a lot of easy tasks. Mrs Lee’s Turquoise group are using a slideshow called bloom cards. There are 4 tasks on each slide and there are sixteen slides(Take one off). Each week, we need to get a minimum of 10 points, some tasks are worth six points, some are worth 1.Anyways,here it is! (Pts 6)

For this task, we needed to create a poem about our novel. I chose an acrostic poem because I think it is the easiest and the most fun. If you don’t know what an acrostic poem is, it is a poem that goes down vertically, like this:

D

O

G

Then,  you need to think of words or sentences that fit with it. For example, the D can be domestic or dog.

Anyways, here it is!(Pts 6+5=11 pts)

For this task, we needed to explain how a character learnt a lesson. For example, someone ate a lot of candy and in the end they had rotten teeth. That kind of lesson, not the rotten teeth part. I chose google slides to present this and I chose the character Owen.I think this was simple and easy, so anyways, here it is!(Pts 11+2=13 pts)

For this task, we needed to come up with a reason why the author named the book TWO DEGREES and we had to give evidence from the text. I think it was pretty fun and fast so I would definitely do this again.Anyways, here it is! (Pts 13+2=15 pts)
