WALT:
Hi Bloggers!
This week we are finally starting Novel Studies! We have two groups, two different stories: Two Degrees and Refugee. Both by the same author Alan Gratz. There are nine people doing Two Degrees and nine people doing Refugee. On the first day we had to read up to page thirty-three. Then, we had to read from page thirty-four to fifty-six. Lastly, we had to read from page fifty-seven to page ninety. The three main characters in Refugee were Josef (Germany, Berlin, first of September 1939 to the second of September 1945), Isabel (Cuba, Havana, 1995), and Mahmoud (Syria, Aleppo, 2015). The four characters in Two Degrees are Akira (California), George and Owen (Churchill, Manitoba, Canada), Natalie (Miami, Liberty Island).
DLO (Digital Learning Object):
For our object we had a slide show that says a question and you have to try to answer it. By the end of the week you need to get at least over ten points. If you want more points in one go, the questions get harder. The highest point rank is six points. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my two questions! Here is my work!
