Kia ora whānau,
As we head into the sunnier months, we want to remind everyone about the importance of sun safety during school hours. The sun can be quite strong, and it is essential that all tamariki protect themselves while outdoors.
Please ensure your child brings their school hat every day.
Wearing a hat helps shield tamariki from harmful UV rays and keeps them comfortable during outdoor activities.
Key Points:
Hat Requirement: All students must wear a school hat during recess and outdoor activities. Sun Safety: Encourage your child to apply sunscreen and stay hydrated throughout the day. Lost and Found: Please label hats with your child’s name to avoid mix-ups.
Thank you for your support in keeping our tamariki safe and sun-smart!
Ngā mihi,
Whaea Nav
