This week we are learning about Riparian zones. A riparian zone is a unique piece of land located beside rivers, streams, and lakes. You can think of it as nature’s filter that helps keep our water clean and healthy. We had to research about 7 different reasons why Riparian zones are important. I found research to be quite simple because my class and I use a website called Perplexity. It provides us with a lot of information and helps us understand things at any grade level.
