2/2/25

Things have been full on with our students practicing for their performances for the Aroha Festival on Wednesday 9th April. We hope you’ll be able to come to enjoy the watching all the talents of our students. Many of our students have celebrated Eid and shared some delicious treats. We had a very wet Friday today. It was a perfect day for building forts for torchlight reading and doing some Art. We have been learning about ANZAC day and why we commemorate it. We have learned that even animals have been ANZAC heroes.  Did you know that the use of slugs saved many lives during World War I? They played a vital role in protecting soldiers from chemical warfare by warning them when poisonous gas was present. We all worked together to make some collaborative posters to commemorate ANZAC Day.

Well done to Zoie, who was awarded Tama for the weekend. We look forward to hearing about his adventures with Zoie and her whānau.
