Kia Ora Mr Prakash in this blog I will teach you some things I have learnt this term so far.
Distance
How far something goes. If you walk from your house to the park, that’s your distance.
Time
How long something takes. If you walk to the park in 10 minutes, that’s your time.
Speed
How fast something goes. If you walk 100 meters in 10 seconds, your speed is 10 meters per second.
Acceleration
How much faster something gets. If you start running and get faster, you are accelerating.
Deceleration
How much slower something gets. If you slow down your bike, you are decelerating.
Force
A push or a pull. If you push a box, you are using force.
Friction
A force that tries to stop things from moving. If you slide a book on the floor, friction slows it down.
Newton’s First Law
Things stay still or keep moving unless something makes them stop or change. A ball won’t roll unless you kick it.
Newton’s Second Law
Heavier things need more force to move. It’s harder to push a heavy box than a light box.
Newton’s Third Law
When you push something, it pushes back just as hard. If you jump off a boat, the boat moves back.
Motion
When something changes place or moves. Walking, running, and cars driving are all examples of motion.
