Kamusta, last week we did the L Alphabet plastique code and did water painting about the word that we were doing. The L Alphabet Plastique code is a art made by Auguste Herbin. It is an alphabet that has shapes and colours that makes like a code. Here’s an example of the alphabet I’m talking about.

You just pick a word and I did Whanau. I spelt Whanau sing the shapes of the letters of it. Another example like the letter ’w’ you find which colour and shape it has. If the letter has some other shapes you can pick one. But if the letter that your spelling out has 1 shape then you’ll have to use it. Next I put like a square and start making a picture using shapes of the code that I choose. After that I started copying it on a paper and started painting it using the colours of the letters. Here’s what my art looks like.
