The baking Compettion

I am learning how to write a narrative properly.

 

There was a baking competition and Layla entered. She planned to make a cake with roses on it. She was pretty confident because she was the best baker in her town.

 

When it came down to the competition she was prepared. Layla got some of the good bakers to help make the cake. The competition started and Layla was prepared.

 

She used eggs, flour, vanilla, sugar, crushed up rose petals and raspberries. She got working by mixing the sugar, flour and eggs, and then she stirred in the vanilla, raspberries and rose petals.

 

The other competitors already had their cakes in the oven and they were working on the icing and decorations. Layla had just put her cake in the oven. Now she was making the icing.

 

The cake had just come out of the oven. Layla was now assembling it. She put all the cake together and the icing on top. She sprinkled some freeze-dried raspberries and roses on top and added some fresh roses from her Grandma’s garden.

 

She finished just in time. Now it was judging time. She came second and a girl called Grace came first. A boy called Tim came third. She was happy.
