Hey guys, this week our focus was on learning about the gold rush in the 1860s. A main person in our text was Gabriel Read (Gabriella? Katseye reference?!)
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- I can confidently decode given texts and make sense of them.
- I can explain what the 1860s gold rush was.
- I can explain what life was like as a Chinese immigrant in the 1860s.
TASK ONE: VOCABULARY
So this was interesting, and it only took me 2 periods to finish. I liked doing this because I like learning about new words.

And that was it. I enjoyed every part of this, and I think I’ll be trying Titan next week since It’s only wednesday and I’m Already done.
