Maybe you should tell your friends to take consideration of their school life so they can hopefully succeed in school. If your friends keep participating in these activities it will start to become a habit to them and think it´s ok. Instead of saying you don´t want to  go, try and persuade them how this could potentially affect them later in life when they have to commit to a job. They could be having difficulties in that class and maybe that´s why they want to skip class, so just have a talk to them and try to convince them to stay at school.  Here is a quote that can give you some inspiration and it reads ¨Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today¨. What that quote means to me is if you turn up to your classes and participate then it will help you in your future.

This grid shows how to take an informal sentence and turn it into a semi formal sentence.

That sucks but you should just get over it. Not everything in life is fair but you just have to keep pushing.
I hear ya but it is what it is. It’s really unfortunate to hear that but it’s ok.
I get that you’re upset but there’s probably not a lot you can do about it. I hear that you’re mad but if you can’t do anything about it why care.
You can’t make someone like you, move on. Try and focus on yourself before focusing on others.
If you don’t want people to judge you then don’t write stuff on social media. Be weary before you post things online and maybe look at it how other people would.
