¨ My mates keep telling me to skip class with them. I don’t want to, but I also don’t want to look lame. How do I say no without losing my friends. ¨
Kia ora Jax. I understand you are struggling with peer pressure and don’t want it to affect your friendship. I’m here to try and help and give advice to hopefully find a solution. Friendships can be really tough to deal with and sometimes are the worst when you are fighting in it, but your situation as you have stated has to do with peer pressure and I’m here to help. Firstly you could maybe say something like im busy or try go hang out and get some food or drinks sometime else.Secondly you should maybe consider if they really your friends and do they respect your decision. If they don’t you should try and reconsider them as friends or at least talk to them.
