Reflection of 2025

Reflection of 2025

Hello everyone, this is my reflection of the year of two-thousand and twenty-five. This year hasn’t been the best, but it definitely hasn’t been the worst. Besides my phone breaking into 30 pieces, this year has been memorable. I love my friend group so much, I have never been so grateful for a group of idiots this much. They are currently angry at me right now while I am writing this… but still, they have played a big part in contributing to this pretty neutral year. I could even say they made this year one of the best ones, I thought this year would be absolutely horrid, but with them they have made this year a lot more less painful.

Once thing I want to improve for next year is locking in all my academics. I was pretty laid back this year but next year I’m gonna be serious. Mark my words, I swear I will be so smart that they think Albert Einstein is constantly whispering in my ear from the ghost realm. I have dropped in my scores a bit in literacy even though I am such a talented writer, I have sooo much experience as an author… right? But anyways, my maths needs to get better too. I need to lock in and improve my skills, because I have so much potential―in all subjects, I just need to embrace it. I don’t want to waste all my potential.

Something I was scared of this year was the year in general. especially since last year. Last year was a horrid year and I was extremely anxious, believe it or not I am a very anxious person. I was in a bad state of mind and I wanted at least make it through this year happier and healthy. But I am so happy that this class isn’t filled with a bunch of obnoxious idiots (it is but you know what I mean…) that lack basic human empathy. Unlike last year, people in this class had real emotions and actually cared for each other. I’m very thankful for this class this year and I wish we could stay a bit longer.

I honestly think this class is so peak. All (most) of us get along, and we can have our moments and stuff, but overall we can all get together for a class party or game that we all enjoy. I am very thankful for this class this year and I am so grateful for all the funny moments we have had this year. Even though all of my current friend group won’t be returning, I won’t forget anyone or take anyone for granted. My friends have genuinely made this year ten times better compared to last year, and they have made me a lot happier (in general) now. I am going to miss all the Mafia games where I scream at Benjamin for peeking, Mackenzie beating me, and everyone accusing me of being the Mafia. The class parties we had, the awkward moments that my friend group has made so much better, all the library visits, and all the times we have gone to the court and enjoyed ourselves. I genuinely love all the friends I have made this year and I will always be grateful. Special shout-out to Benjamin, bro I couldn’t make it to his final day, he was one of my first friends at Hornby High, and he was a good guy―except for when he cheated in Mafia, but I wish him the best. May Mr Earwax be with you. This has been such a good year and I will remember it forever. pretzeldestroyer9 out.
