Doomsday
On the doomsday of 2012 me and my roommate Fred were having a movie night, the movie had many weird things like flying boats and magnitude 11 earthquakes, we didn’t think much of it. As the sky turned darker we heard a big BOOM! The loud boom echoed through the hallways for a long time, then suddenly we started to hear firefighters come speeding to our building!
By the next minute they were evacuating everyone including us, we had no idea what to do so we followed the safety procedures, we had to get in our car and drive away not looking back.Fred’s curiosity took over and he stared back into the unknown.
“DON’T LOOK BACK” Shouted Fred as he stared back into the abyss.
“What’s wrong” I Replied.
“I CANT MOVE MY EYES” cried Fred.
I hit the brakes and tried to slap him out of it but his eyes wouldn’t move they would only blink. I went to the driver’s seat and hit the pedal but a car hit me and spun our car 180 degrees I didn’t know what to do so I opened my eyes and saw a giant looking worm destroy our city. I was so scared so I screamed as loud as I could but then the worm shifted its body and faced straight at us.
The worm blasted out a silk web onto our car, the web was so strong I couldn’t drive the car a single inch. But then an idea popped in my head what if I grabbed a knife in the glove box and thrashed it on the webs, and that was exactly what I did. The knife worked perfectly on the webs and after I finished getting rid of the webs the car could move again. I hit the break so hard that the car started on 6o km an hour, the big worm tore through the concrete at an astonishing 50 km an hour the only reason I knew this was because I studied speeds for just below a year. Anyways it came close to getting me until it ran out of energy when my car had just a quarter left .I drove all the way to Idaho and told everyone what happened to me and Fred did the same.
