On Thursday Ruru went to shantytown for a camp. We had to get transport in cars to get to shantytown after a while. of driving everyone was there and i was the last one to get there after unpacking all our stuff that we needed from our bags we set off into shantytown but first everyone had. to do a class photo after the class photo the shantytown people came out of the building and all of us went into the shantytown.
When we walked in I saw a train set but we had to go to the school first. I was sitting next to luca across from me and luca was sarven and jethro. Then we had to do some learning about the flags and how we got our New Zealand flag. Later we got to eat lunch next ruru got to play with the horses or the jail sell or with the stills. Ben was playing cops and robers Luca was in the jail cell. I was locking him in the jail. It thing was really fun. Amy rang the bell to get on the train and we rid to the end and back to the saw mill But lets fast forward to the slosegun everyone had to walk up a hill because the slosegun was up there and they needed a hill to do it also there was a poor whisky bar it was run down dirt floor spider webs but there was a guy there controlling the pump for the slosegun he started the slosegun and the water rushed out flooding the hill water was rushing into a wooden square box with little ladders to catch the gold because the gold is heavier than rocks so the gold will get stuck in the ladders finally we went to build bags for gold panning i got some gold but i put it back in the river luca was building a dam so i helped him but then me luca ran out of time but it was dinner time i was ready for fish and chips and it was delicious
finally everyone got to play spotlight and the parents wer in the first rownd started and i was hiding in the corner with ben,riley and jordan for 3 rownds i was in the phown box for a entiuer rownd because they forgot abuot me then eveyone went to bed zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
