Once upon a time there was one man who found a beautiful piece of land. But one day he had to leave to explore other places. He wanted to come back one day so he Tied up taniwai up to guard the place. So he could return one day. The taniwai took on the forms of a great white shark and are bronze whaler sharks. Later Maui And his crew was out of water and desperate to find land. The little boy started shouting “land land”. Everyone gained hope until he said it was just a mirage.
