For this Summer Learning Journey Step it up Activity, I attended a challenge of using my creative skills, to create an art of web, by using paper, scissors and paper. Here is a link to the tutorial of how to create a web. What I have learnt during this challenge is that, Spiders aren’t just 1 style artists, but spiders can create many styles of webs. After finishing the challenge, I gave a go at this game again, trying both the puzzle game and the quiz.
3 Facts about Spiderwebs:
- Spiders have been inspiring other artists for centuries now.
- In order for spiders to create different types of artwork, they use different types of webs, for eg: orb webs, sheet webs, tangle webs & funnel webs.
- Human artists that are inspired by spiders artwork, try to replicate their silk in order to replicate their artwork
