Hello, everyone. Today in health class we played another game, which was about building a marshmallow tower. It was really exciting to see how high and stable we could make it using only marshmallows and skewers, and it helped us practise working together as a team.
It was a really fun game, and I built the tower together with my group. When we built it, we made sure it was balanced and could stand on its own. My group and I worked together to carefully place each marshmallow and skewer so the tower would not fall over. We did really well because we successfully balanced it without anything else holding it up. Even though it was a bit challenging at first, we kept trying different ideas until it finally worked, and we were very proud of our tower. We had so much fun!
This is what it looks like. We forgot to take a picture of the marshmallow tower we made, but the picture below is one of the examples of a marshmallow tower that looks similar to ours. If you imagine our tower, it was a little bit wobbly at first, but it ended up standing tall after we fixed it.

We managed to stabilise it by connecting all the marshmallows to the skewers in a way that made a strong base. We learned that if the base is wide and the skewers are joined well, the tower can stand much more easily. This helped us understand how balance and structure are important when building anything.
We did this activity with five groups, and we all worked together and encouraged each other. My group used 12 marshmallows and 8 skewers to build our tower. It was interesting to see how each group had a different design, and we talked about which ideas worked best and why.
That’s all, guys. We had so much fun playing this game and learning how to work as a team. I enjoyed this activity a lot because it was creative, a little bit challenging, and also a good way to practise communicating with my classmates. I hope we can do more activities like this in health class. Bye-bye!
