Hello everyone,
Let me tell you about art this term! We did Se-Jong Cho Landscape, she has been our inspiration. She is a popular scientist and an amazing artist.
Impasto
Impasto is a type of art that we tried, it is actually pretty cool. We used palette knives and some paint. I chose to do two different colours for mine. One had dark blue, light blue, warm and warm red. While my other one had yellow, warm red and dark blue. The technique is to not do it hard, you need to do it softly.
Stippling
We also did Stippling painting, you’ll just need a painting brush and some paint again. I used green, warm red and warm yellow! All you needed to do was to dab the paintbrush softly.
Sgraffito
For Sgraffito painting, we had to paint the part very quickly. Then, flip the paint brush and write or draw something on the paint! I used blue for the background and used red for the drawing and writing. It is actually really fun when you get the hand of it.
Blending Gradient
Blending Gradient is actually a common technique and we decided to try it! I did green and blue, but I made some mistakes while doing it. All you have to do is, mix the colours!
