Water pong- Heath

Hello Readers, Hoping you guys are having a good day so far. Today, I will be telling you guys about what we did in health. So, to start off, let me give you guys a brief explanation. We had to take 9 cups and fill them up with enough water so they don’t knock over easily, then we buddied up with another team (me & Alexis VS Izzy & Naz) And after that we had to play a round of water pong and see who got all cups knocked down fastest. We beat them 3 times and won against the entire class.

Te Whare Tapa Whā is  your wellbeing represented by  a Whare. There are 5 areas of hauora, and they are Social, Physical, Mental & Spiritual. Te Whare Tapa Whā shows how the 4 areas of a whare interconnect by supporting your mental health, and all of them are equally important.

This interrelating concept connects with a person as a Whare with 4 walls.

In Health, we played Water pong. The aim of this game was to show teamwork and resilience.

My hauora was positively affected during the game as it led me to make a good friendship with izzy. This had a positive impact on my hauora because it involved talking, and I talk a lot.

My hauora was negatively impacted when I kept losing. This had a negative impact on my hauora because I almost gave up.

It is important to understand sportsmanship when participating in a game with others. This is because when you’re playing a game, you have to work in teams and you have to stay resilient.
