Room 5 has been having an amazing time exploring and caring for our beautiful mara! Every visit is full of excitement as the children enjoy the company of the animals, feeding the pigs and learning how to care for them with kindness.
They love spending time in the treehouse, letting their imaginations run wild, and taking moments to notice the wonderful plants all around—stopping to smell the flowers and enjoy nature’s color’s. Some of our little musicians even bring their creativity outdoors, playing the piano among the trees, filling the mara with beautiful music.
Through these experiences, our tamariki are learning to be caring, responsible, and curious — true kaitiaki of our environment. Their laughter, curiosity, and joy make each visit special, and it’s heartwarming to see how much they appreciate and respect the world around them.
We can’t wait for more adventures in the mara with Room 5!
