Hello readers! In science today we were learning about muscles and how they contract and relax to make us move. In this blog, I explain how to do a handshake step-by-step by saying what muscles to contract or relax.
How to do a handshake:
- Contract your bicep while relaxing your tricep in the arm that is opposite to the one the other person is holding up.
- Contract your extensor muscles to open your hand.
- Relax your extensor muscles and contract your flexor muscles to close your hand around the other person’s hand.
- Contract your bicep.
- Contract your tricep.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5
- Contract your extensor muscles.
- Contract your tricep.
- YOU HAVE PREFORMED A HANDSHAKE!!!
