Explaining To An Alien How To Do A Handshake

Hello readers! In science today we were learning about muscles and how they contract and relax to make us move. In this blog, I explain how to do a handshake step-by-step by saying what muscles to contract or relax.

How to do a handshake:

  1. Contract your bicep while relaxing your tricep in the arm that is opposite to the one the other person is holding up.
  2. Contract your extensor muscles to open your hand.
  3. Relax your extensor muscles and contract your flexor muscles to close your hand around the other person’s hand.
  4. Contract your bicep.
  5. Contract your tricep.
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5
  7. Contract your extensor muscles.
  8. Contract your tricep.
  9. YOU HAVE PREFORMED A HANDSHAKE!!!
