Room 22 has been super busy this week becoming digital artists. We grabbed our devices and jumped into Explain Everything to see what we could create!
Names in Lights
We started our lesson by using the whiteboard tools. Everyone practiced writing their name and the date. It was a great way to get our “digital hands” warmed up and ready to design!
The “Copy-Paste” Magic
Did you know you can make a shape grow into a whole pattern?

First, we picked a square and filled it with a bright color.

Then, we used the Duplicate tool.

Zap! One square turned into two, then four, then six!
We didn’t stop at squares, though. We tried it with circles, stars, and triangles to make some amazing repeating patterns.
Classroom Stars
To finish off, we had a big Show and Tell. We shared our screens and showed the class how we made our patterns. It was awesome to see how everyone used different colors and shapes to make something unique.
