egg parachute experiment -legend

hi every one today I’m gonna write a blog post about the egg drop we did on tuesday.
We did the egg drop experiment to learn how different forces affect falling objects and how engineers design ways to protect fragile items from damage. The challenge was to create a parachute or protective container that could stop the egg from breaking when dropped from a height. This experiment also helped us develop creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills by testing different designs and improving them.

What Science Ideas Were We Investigating?

The main science ideas we investigated were gravity, air resistance, force, and impact.
  • gravity is the force that pulls objects toward the Earth. It made the egg fall downward.
  • Air resistance is the force from the air that pushes against the parachute and slows the fall.
  • Impact force happens when the egg hits the ground. The protective materials helped absorb some of this force.
  • We also explored how a larger parachute creates more air resistance, making the egg fall slower and safer.
I don’t have a link or any other research on how to make a good parachute, I just drew the parachute because I already know what to do and what the materials what we need for the parachute by the help of renz, and Lee chin, we made a good parachute.
