Hello!
WALT show accountability by taking ownership of your actions and whether the results are good or bad, just learning to accept the consequences of the final outcome.
In this weeks kiwi-can lesson, kiwi-can greeted us with a big hello, as our voices responded back with many voices filled with energy. As we sat down we got straight into our normal routine starting with a recap from last week. This week’s topic was accountability with the theme still being integrity, Accountability means to take ownership of your actions and having a responsible attitude. The energiser we played was called ‘ days of the week ‘ and we had to take roles of the days of the week, and when the kiwi-can instructor called out a day we had to go in the order of that specific date, and the last group to set their position up was out. In conclusion, My group won with a relieved sigh. Then we got straight back down the mat and recapped about what types of values that are shown by accountability that we showed visually in this game. The answers from us were very specific and some of us were collaborating while some were just thinking to themselves.
When we came up with your brief answers Kiwi can was surprised and proud of our answers. Then after 10 minutes of talking, we got into our activity which was callled ” role plays ” in this specific game, we had to show accountability and kindness. We were given specific themes which were nature, shops, home, and sport. Everyone had an original idea especially the shop themed act. In conclusion our kiwi can lesson taught us how accountability works, and why we had to show it. Our points overall for this session was 95.
