The most exciting day I can remember was when I went to the pools with my family. On a fine Saturday my family and I packed up the car with bags of snacks,towels,clothes and chairs and a giant tent. We were supposed to go to the panmure pools but ended up going to the Jellicoe pools.I set up all my things and dove into the pool.It didn’t take long for everyone else to jump into the pool,we had only swam for at least 20 minutes when we heard from someone that a person slipped and had a concussion. They were running and there was no lifeguard in site,also there was clearly I sign saying,”Don’t run,there is a chance you will slip”,Now there was a lifeguard that had to tell kids to stop running.
After hearing that I saw people with a wristband to go onto a slide so I begged my dad to buy me a wrist band because the slide looked awesome to ride. The color of the wristband was pink,at that time pink was my favourite color so I was awesomely happy. The slide was very HUGE! I went on the slide at least five times because it was so good!
Unfortunately it was two o’clock and we had to go home.I helped my dad pack the car back up and shared some of my snacks with him on the drive back home. Honestly I had such a good time at Jellicoe pools.
