Hi guys!

This term we have been learning about rockets. Today I published my information report about them.  I liked this task because, well, I just like writing information reports.

MY Amazing  Work⬇💕

What Staging Is!

Today you will learn about rockets and how they stage. Also, why staging is important.

First Stage:Lift Off!🚀

The lift-off stage is the stage where drag is the highest and it’s also the heaviest stage. Lift-off is the largest and most important part because the rocket has to fight strongly through the tough, thick air molecules. Now our journey has begun, let’s look at the second stage of staging.

Second Stage:Climbing

So, in the first stage we looked at the rocket blasting off. Well, now the huge tank is heavy, but also empty. With a heavy tank, the rocket is getting weighed down and can’t go full speed. The rocket sheds this part because it’s useless and creating problems. Don’t worry, it lands in the ocean or is caught by a helicopter.

Last Stage:Staging

Now the rocket is high up where the air is thin, the smaller engine takes over. There is less mass to move which means the rocket can accelerate faster. When the rocket accelerates faster it can blast off! You float in space because there is no gravity.

Thank you for reading my information report. Hope you learnt about rockets!
