Hey Blog
Aim
for science we have been creating the solar system inside a cardboard box for science. We had to make labels drawings and hang them from the box, we had to go in groups of 2-3 so Me and my friends Olivia and Kate worked together to make it. The point was to know the order of the solar system and their colours and shapes.
Method
First we grabbed all our supplies including A cardboard box, markers, paper, scissors, tape and string. Me Kate and Olivia had our own roles on what we were doing I coloured in all the planets and cut some of them out, Olivia taped the planets and labels to the string and stuck them to the cardboard box, and Kate drew the planets.
Results
This is how our solar system box:
Discussion
I put the planets in the order mercury Venus earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus and Neptune. The smallest planet in the solar system is Mercury and the biggest planet is Jupiter. The name of the galaxy we are living in is the milky way galaxy. Other than planets in space there are astroids, stars moons.
Conclusion
The solar system we made worked perfectly the handwriting of the labels were amazing ( thanks Olivia ) and the colouring I did was actually good, Kate did an amazing job on the drawings too. I would not do anything differently since my group did really well.
