Wassily Kandinsky

For this art task, LS2 researched Wassily Kandinsky and learnt about his unique style of abstract art. I found it interesting that he used circles, shapes, lines and colours to express feelings and ideas instead of painting things exactly as they look in real life. I also looked at some of his circle artworks and noticed how he used different sizes, colours and patterns to make his paintings interesting. I then created my own artwork inspired by Kandinsky, using my own choice of circles, colours and designs. I enjoyed being able to experiment with different ideas and make the artwork my own.
