Yesterday, we had fun in class learning about how glass is made. First, we watched a video on how glass is made. We learnt that glass is made from silica sand, which is melted to 3000 degrees Fahrenheit. It was interesting to learn that this temperature is hotter than the planet Venus. We learnt that glass is very useful. We did an experiment to see how glass is made but instead of glass we made toffee. Here are some photos of our toffee making. Our create task was to make a poster explaining how glass made and its many uses.
