what was challenging the challenging part was writing this diary
a question have you tried rewana bread
1 potato
6 and a quarter cup of flour
6 tablespoon of sugar
1 and 3 third cups of water
Mix into a thick paste keep it extra warm 22c to jump start wild yeast
Feeding time the wild yeast is eating the sugar and creating bubbles 
The bu is active smells sweet and sour and is ready for tomorrow’s bake

Monday 29th June
We peeled potatoes and then we cut them into small pieces. Then we put water in a huge pot and then boiled it till it was hot. And then we poured the potatoes into the pot and we waited till the water or potatoes turned white then we took the potatoes out and we added flour, sugar and 1 third of water. at
Tuesday the 30 of june

we opened the bug and the bug looked kinda like pancake or waffle batter it also kinda smelt like banna instead of smelling like a potato. It actually smelled like bread dough and it looked more moist. We had to feed the bug though*so we put the same ingredients in apart from the potato so then we added more cups of water and more spoon of sugar more water and a little more sugar.
Wednesday the 1 of july
When we checked it the rewAna bug was brighter and it even raised. But we had to feed it again we feed it with more flour, more sugar and more warm potato water.
Thursday the 2 of july 2026
Today when we checked on the rewana bug with my teammates kata tilly and ella-jayne the bug had a thick layer of this but stinked really badly and had a foul smell that smelt like rotaroa and rotten eggs but after we start kneaded the smell was starting to disappear and the more we kneaded the more the smell the disappeared
