On Monday we were making rēwana beard. I was peeling the potato,Loccy  cutted the potato to cubes, Tilly did the mashing and Kata did the flour and the sugar. When we were done with our parts we were cutting stars for matariki. I was really excited and it kind of felt like a challenge but my favourite part was doing the star and putting them on

(Day 2 of looking at the bug)  the bug looks like porridge, vomit and batter  . It also looks chewy like gum and it looks kind of clumpy and gooey and  . it smelled  like bananas, mashed potato and pancake mixes. (how we feed the bug) we’ve been feeding it sugar, water and flour then we mix it.

Wednesday 1st July 2026

(day 3 of looking at the bug) our bug looks like butter but as Liquid and still looks like banana mix and its potato skin is coming out. It smells like dough and butter it also smells sour, sweet, floury and playdough.

( The last day of looking at the bug)

Thursday 2nd July 2026   It looks like it doubled its size. It also banana cake and on top on the bug looks like candlewax, but in the inside it looks like gloopy cheese. It smelled like rotten eggs with a hint of slime and it also smelled a little bit sweet. My favourite part was stirring it, pouring the water and putting the flour

 on the desk.
