What I learnt was how to make rewana.
What was challenging how to not make it so dry.
have you ever made rewana bread?
Wednesday 1st july
I saw the bug we made. No , not the creature. It smelt good(ish), but it was not a feast, for the mouth or the eyes, I can’t quite describe it accurately but it was a hard image to see, it was a thick consistency and was a bit lumby and bubbly, i think that’s a good thing? I’m not sure. We fed it some flour&sugar and it changed slightly, a bit thicker, but it still looked well… interesting, but i think that’s a success it got thicker and a bit funky.

Thursday 2nd july
Today the bug was even bigger! I think it doubled its size overnight, it had a thick shell on top of it and it was a bit bubbly. When we were ready to make it a dough, we added baking soda flour sugar and mixed, we poured 8 quarters/2cups of the bug into our
flour mixture. We kneaded it carefully and kept adding flour, by then it looked like raw bread which is a good sign, because it’s meant to be bread. I call that a success!.
