1 potato 6 ¼ cups of flour 6 tablespoons of sugar. 1 ¾ cups 1 ¾ warm potato water, warm mash up the potato 2 teaspoons of sugar/ mix  into a thick paste. Keep it extra warm 22c+ jump start wild yeast!

What my group did was peel the potatoes and I was amazed that Iris finished first. We cut them up into little cubs I was nervous for this part because i thought someone was going to cut them safe but they didn’t .We put them into a bot that is hot and when we put them in the bot it was bubbling and they got soft then we waited until they were boiled to take them out we mash them up then clara put 1 cup of flour on top of the mashed potatoes then put 3/4 cups of potato warm water the mix thenyou add 2 tablespoons of sugar.

1 cup of flour 2 teaspoons spoons of sugar ½ cup warm potato water.

The bug was gloopy at first and it was runny but when it smelled like slime and banna cake it was. To feed the bug we

put more flour, sugar, water and mixed with a spoon it became runny and it smelt like dough and then we put all of the equipment away and it also raised. We put a tea towel over it to let some air in and out.

So Today it was better because it had some baubles and it was creamy and it smelled like dough and sorer dough it made my nose tinkle and it raised and the temperature helped over night and then we add flour, sugar, potato water and mixed with a spoon and then we put the paper towel over it and then we put our equipment away so Riley put the spoon and wash it. Then Iris put the bug away.

Thursday  2nd  July 2026

Take out 2 cups of active bugs. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to the dough.

So today it was gloopy and it raised so much i was happy, and  it had more babbles then yesterday it didn’t look the same as the frybreed it smell’t like egg it I was liking this it was fun and i got to do some stuff not much thought

We used 4 cups of flour, then 1 teaspoon of tote, then 1 teaspoon of baking soda, then we had to use all the bugs but it said to use 2 cups and then 2 cups of warm water  then 2 tablespoons of sugar. We add the dry ingredients first to the flour, sugar and baking soda we put a hole in the middle and then put the warm water and the bug then we take it out and needed it was too sticky so we put flour over our hands and put it on the table then I wash the bowl out and we put it in then put it by the radiator.
