My goal was to write in paragraphs. I think I completed this goal.

Once upon a time, in a land far away there lived a mushroom named Arlo.
He lived in a pretty village by a bubbling stream and every day he would go sit by a tree in the sunny forest next to the stream, reading his favourite book.
Arlo’s favourite book was about a little boy who went on lots of adventures. The little boy would go sailing down the river and climbing trees or playing in the attic. And he once even tried to fly with some feathers that he flapped frantically!
Well, Arlo thought that he would have an adventure and started off in the search for one.
“I am not quite sure how to find one though?”The Mushroom said to himself, as he sat beneath the shade of a birch on the forest floor. “Maybe I should climb a tree and see if I can see any adventures.” So that’s what Arlo decided to do.
“The only problem is, I don’t know how to climb a tree,” Arlo’s troubled face showed that this would be a big problem.
The trees were all way taller than mushrooms, as mushrooms were only as tall as your finger. The trees were 50 times the height of a little mushroom. What was Arlo to do?
He decided that he would try anyway. He ambled through the forest for a little time before coming to a stump next to a ginormous trunk.
“I’ll get onto this stump and try reaching the branches,” Arlo made a plan.
He climbed up the bark on the stump and then stood up on the rough surface once he had made it to the top.
The little mushroom reached and reached but couldn’t grab even the lowest branches. Tears welled up in his eyes. Upset Arlo sat down on the stump and cried.
I wish I could have an adventure like Robby in the book. But I can’t find one,” he sighed deeply and let a few more tears fall to the wood.
Suddenly he heard a swooshing sound and looked up at the sky. Flying down towards him, he saw a beautiful bird.
The bird had blue and green and pink feathers, and wings that glided wonderfully through the air.
Down swooped the bird and landed right next to Arlo on the stump.
“Why are you sad, little mushroom?” asked the beautiful bird.
Arlo replied, “I can’t climb the tree to find an adventure. In my book, Robby goes on lots of adventures and I wanted to go on one too. So I decided to try to climb a tree to see one. Only I couldn’t climb the tree.”
“Well, I can help with that.”
“You can?” Arlo asked in awe.
“Yes. I can see lots in the sky. My name is Ava. Now hope on my back and I will fly you up into the sky so you can find an adventure. What is your name?“
“My name is Arlo, “ Arlo said as he happily hopped on Ava’s back.
“Hold on tight!” Ava called to Arlo and she took off into the sky.
The wind whipped against Arlo’s face as he went up and up and up! Way up in the sky the mushroom saw all the tree tops and the stream and just managed to see his little village.
“This is a fun adventure!” Arlo was very happy on his adventure in the sky with his new friend named Ava.
