And that’s a wrap on term 2!

What a wonderful way to finish the term!

On Thursday, Nevaeh had the special opportunity to take Jackie to visit All Saints Church and play the beautiful pipe organ. She knew exactly why she was there and confidently swung her leg over the organ stool like a seasoned musician! After spending around half an hour exploring the instrument, it was lovely to see how much progress she has made. This time, rather than simply exploring the keys, Nevaeh was applying the piano skills she has been learning with Marilyn, proudly playing two of her favourites, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and Mary Had a Little Lamb on the church organ. It was a wonderful moment to witness and a testament to how far she has come.

Back in class, Nevaeh continues to enjoy spending time with Olivia, building on her colour recognition and fine motor skills through fun, engaging activities. She also loves adding a little extra sparkle with the sensory disco ball while making music, singing along to her favourite songs, and enjoying musical moments with her classmates.

We are so proud of Nevaeh’s progress this term and the confidence she continues to show. We hope everyone has a safe, restful break, and we look forward to seeing you all back at the start of Term 3!
