In literacy we were learning to write and publish information reports and I did mine on Minecraft.
Introduction
Minecraft is an educational game that lots of people play around the world online and offline.
How to play
People usually start by chopping a tree down and then they go into their inventory then put the wood in there and craft planks they make. Then use your leftover planks to make a crafting table, then place it and right click the Crafting table.Then you put together the craft planks and craft sticks and make an axe and pickaxe. After mining some stone use the crafted stone tools then iron, go to the nether.You can make obsidian by pouring a water bucket over lava then mining it. Use a flint and steel to light another portal, when you find a nether fortress and kill ender men for ender pearls, then go back to the overworld. Craft the blaze rods into blaze powder and combine it, follow it to the end and break all the crystals then kill the dragon.
Crafting
In Minecraft you craft loads of different things like blocks of gold or diamond. If you have nine you can make a block of diamond or gold. If you need nine diamonds you just put it in your 2×2 crafting menu. Did you know that you could craft copper armour and oxidize it and it becomes quite good for early game armour. Then you can get better armour and to craft armour you need ingots or diamond ore.
If you wanted to craft an axe you would put two sticks facing up then put your material in and you have crafted an axe. For boots you put your material in two up on both sides and leave a gap in the middle. For some leggings put your material in the same as the boots but three sideways and that’s how to make pants and to make a chest plate put 3×2 on the bottom one and then put it on boots but only leave one space in between.
Fighting tips
If you use an elytra spear combo always carry wind charges because if your elytra breaks you can clutch with a wind charge or ender pearl. And if you use TNT minecarts use blast protection and use a totem, so you don’t kill your self. Use a flame bow and use rails. If you do crystal PVP make sure you are fighting the right tier because different tiers mean the worse or better. If you are a low tier make sure you are versing the right tier. Also if you do an elytra mace combo using wind burst, mending and density are good. Breech and density can’t be on the same mace. Wind bursts and enchantment lets you fly up in the air and then carry on hitting them. There are different levels such as wind burst I, wind burst II and wind burst III.
Enchantments
In Minecraft there are lots of enchantments such as lunge on the spear, so if you jump off a cliff you can click and you will go forward a couple of blocks and if water is too far just click. Also if you run out of fireworks you can do that if you have an elytra on or equipped. The best one for just regular PVP is protection and if you are versing someone that uses TNT minecarts uses blast protection so you take less damage. If they do crystal PVP do the same and for a sword use sharpness. For a mace the best one to break armour easier is breach and if you want to fly back up which is wind burst.
Weapons
If you do sword PVP you are using an axe, sword, shield, blocks and golden apples. If you do mace PVP like a lot of people you need two maces because specific enchantments can’t go on the same mace. Also if you do spear PVP use knock back if you are not the greatest at fighting. But if you are good. use a horse so you go faster because unlike most weapons the faster you go the more damage you deal. So if you walked at them you would do less damage and if you sprint you do a little bit more so the elytra and fire works will deal a lot of damage. But the max damage you can do is an elytra launcher which propels you thousands of blocks per second so if you build that you can kill any mob or player in seconds.
Healing / food
There are a lot of types of food and healing.
With healing you can use potions or just regular food, but potions are ok. Did you know that a golden or enchanted golden apple gives you potion effects such as healing. fire resistance and more? So that is quite a lot of effects for just eating a golden apple. But a suspicious stew is quite good but can be quite bad so you never know what you are going to get. It is kind of a mystery so that is optional.
Potions
There are a lot of different potions, some deal damage and some help you heal so if you use a poison potion it doesn’t kill them, it only puts them on half a heart. So if you want to kill them use instant damage potions which do kill them unlike the poisons potions and if you like to fight just use fire potions and speed potions and strength potions but healing is pretty good if you aren’t good at fighting and if you don’t want to make it just buy them of markets if you play multi player but if you don’t you’re out of luck.
Add ons
In Minecraft there is a market place where you can buy stuff like add ones which make your world different, like if you bought a dragon add on for example your world would have dragons that were rideable. To pay for a Minecraft add-on you need minecoins which you need to buy with real money.
Minecraft is an easy game to play and it’s fun when you get to know it.
