Our Letter of the Week has been Vv. We have had a lot of exciting learning happening in Kopa Wha around this letter.
Firstly we were looking at a variety of different vegetables.
We also had some musical fun with Helen Griffiths. She kindly brought in a violin for every student to investigate. At the end of our session all tamariki were able to hold the violin and pluck the strings as well as make some sounds with the bow. A short video clip at the end of this blog captures our wonderful class orchestra.
On Thursday we all made a Vegemite and Cheese Toastie. The students all practiced their toasting, spreading, and grating skills during this time.
What a lot of wonderful mahi this week Kopa Wha!
