Te-Ariki’s Island Story

I woke up on an island .I screamed my lungs out until I gasped for air! I walked backwards and took a deep breath. I saw a house at the edge of the island, and I walked to the house to rest and it became night. After the delightful sleep, I had what was left on the island. In the afternoon I had lunch then did the same thing as last night. Actually it was great! I felt like staying here and I did! But it didn’t last long until my mum yelled.“WAKE UP, TE-ARIKI!”said mum. Then she said “it’s time for school.” I got up and got on with my day. “ The day must go on” I said.
