Reading 17th August 2026 term 3

Hello bloggers for this week I am recovering at home and I did work so I posted this WALT: use an increasing knowledge or more mephemes to independently determine the meaning of new words. For this weeks learning we are reading about sharks the start explains about how New Zealand has all types of sharks small huge ones, ones with spots marks different type of names. It says sharks have 1.250 species and NZ has 112 of them.

This first create task was us doing a task about words in the book and we type it in and type the base word, prefix,suffix then we type in the definition and we do it for the rest of the words.

For the second we had to make a infographic about sharks and what we know about them and favourite facts.
