Kia ora e te whānau,
Since the beginning of the term our tamariki have been training for Cross Country. We trained and prepared to hold our oma in Week 4, however, the rain didn’t let us go ahead.
Monday, Week 5 – Monday, came as our postponement day and we were blessed with good weather for all our tamariki to put their training to the test.
We are proud of ALL our Rūma 1 tamariki for giving it their best effort and making it right round the track! Even some of our whānau who ran/walked the track with their tamaiti said that the run is a long one so well done tamariki maa.

Congratulations to Tumatahi (1st), Ardie (2nd), Andre (3rd) and Heavenleigh (1st), Te Ahikaa (2nd), Kaleia (3rd) who will represent our kura for the 5 year olds at Ohaewai School this Wednesday.
