Ski 2026

 Ski 2026

The ski day started at 6.15am in the morning. I got to school and went to the teacher for my wristband th

at has a number on the side that coordinated with all my gear. I was given the number 13.

The skiers code of conduct is Always stay in control, Always look up before merging into the ski field, Be alert, Check your gear, Obey all signage, Keep clear of trails if stopping, Respect gets respect, Assist / stay at accidents, Ski to your ability, Wear your gear, Return your gear, and Attach your gear when you are Getting something to drink or eat. How I folded the skier code of conduct. I always stayed in contact with my skis, I obeyed all of the signage, I skied to my ability, I was always alert, I checked my gear, I wore all of my gear that was needed, I  my gear before I got something to drink or eat.

My ski lesson was at 10 in the morning. I had already been skiing once before on another ski trip. I already knew some of the basics like stopping. Started by practicing on one ski and then took it off and put the other one on. One of the harder things for me was just going around on one ski. One of the easier things were stopping because you shaped your skis like a pizza slice.

For the equipment for the day we needed ski goggles, ski pants, thermals, ski jacket or a waterproof jacket. I was equipped with everything we needed. Was really glad I had ski gloves that I could

ld throw snowballs at the boys. When we went to the ski hire they already had our boots and skis ready for us. We got into our boots. Then our instructor came over and we took us over to the beginners slop.

I was telling Cade the shorter you are the short of your skis are going to be little girl in front of us thought I was talking to her. She turned around and said hey I’m not short. She got onto the palmer and rai

sed a fist at Chelsea.

I had a really good time skiing and being with my friends. I am really thankful to Mrs Koksohorn for helping me to get to the intermediate slope. I fell off the Poma tow twice but the second time my ski hit my ankle and now there is a really big bruise. The second time me and Chelsea went down the intermediate slope together we were in Sync going down opposite ways.
